EMELIA ATTA-FYNN – Managing Director

Experience: She was formerly the Executive Director and Head, Domestic Bank in Ecobank Zambia. She has been working with Ecobank for over 23 years during which time she has obtained practical working experience in various departments of the bank (Group and Affiliate level) including Treasury, Financial Institutions, Compliance and Domestic Bank.
In November 2011 to June 2012, Emelia played a key role in the merger between Ecobank Ghana and the Trust Bank by successfully managing the merger into one bank, including the integration of staff and financials of the two institutions.

KWASI ANOKURANG-BUDU – Deputy Managing Director

Experience: He has over 20 years’ experience in retail banking and was responsible for leading a major geographic segment of the retail branch network in Ecobank Ghana to include all operations, financial results, and strategic direction. Prior to joining Ecobank, he worked in the Finance Department of the National Investment Bank.

EDWARD OPOKU – Internal Auditor

Experience: He has held the positions of Branch Operations with Bank for Housing & Construction; Audit Senior with Deloitte & Touche, Internal Auditor with SSNIT Informal Sector Fund and Internal Auditor with Pan-African Savings and Loans. A chartered Accountant, he has over 15 years in the financial sector, involved in Branch operations, credit management and Internal Audit. He has worked in private practice with Deloitte and Touché and has been involved with the informal sector for 4 years.

LINDA NAYKENE – Head, Corporate Affairs, Research and Customer Experience departments.

Experience: Her professional experience has been developed through working with the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) for over 9 years where she held various roles which included having oversight responsibilities over Personnel Management and Contracts/Consultancy Management; with CARE International for 5 years where she managed the Human Resource and Administrative departments, and is now the Head of the Corporate Affairs, Research and Customer Experience Departments. Through years of experience and learning, she has sharpened her creative thinking and problem-solving skills as well as developed expertise in change management; Human Resource management; effective communication; Procurement and Inventory management as well as Brand management. She is fluent in English and French.

PETRINA EILEEN FRIMPONG – Head, Legal & Company Secretary

Experience: She started her legal career at Fugar & Company Limited, a leading law firm in Ghana. She then joined Intercontinental Bank (Ghana) Limited as Legal Officer. At Intercontinental Bank, her core duties included working on all facility documentation, reviewing agreements entered into by the Bank, offering legal advice to the Bank’s management and support to the Bank’s External Solicitors. She thereafter joint Bank of Africa Ghana Ltd as Head of Credit Administration, and then United Bank for Africa as Company Secretary & Head of Legal Department.

Petrina is a member of ten (10) years standing at the Ghana Bar Association. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree in Law, and also a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and English Language. She also holds the Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law, and has to her credit an award for the best female student in Civil Procedure at the Ghana School of Law.

ROBERT QUAYE – Head, Operations

Experience: He is an experienced banker with expertise in Branch Operations, Trade Services, Foreign Operations & Microfinance. Commencing his banking career with Societe Generale Ghana (SG-SSB) in 1991, he also worked with with Ecobank Ghana, HFC Bank, GT Bank Ghana Ltd & Best Microfinance Co. From January 2014 to date, he has been Head of Operations at Pan-African Savings & Loans Co. Ltd. Some of his positions held in the past include Head of Foreign Operations & Head of Operations.

PRINCE AYENSU AFFUL – Chief Finance Officer

Experience: Prince has been working in the Finance Department of Pan-African Savings and Loans Company for the past 13 years. He was appointed Finance Manager in June 2015 and confirmed as Chief Finance Officer in December 2019. In addition, he serves as Business Analyst for the Ecobank Group Microfinance – support the Group Head, Microfinance and Financial inclusion to provide strategic direction for Ecobank microfinance Companies across five countries namely, Nigeria, Ghana, Burkina, Sierra Leone and Cameroon. Prince has worked with GHASALC and Purple Armond Consulting firm to develop and train Savings and Loans Companies on IFRS 9 impairment model. He has a strong background in financial reporting, financial controls, budget preparation, treasury management and tax planning.

PASCAL T. MENSA-ANNAN – Head, ICT

Experience: Pascal is an IT expert with experience in systems development and integration. He worked for Persol Systems Limited and SISCO Limited before joining Pan-African Savings and Loans in 2008. He has been with the company for over 15 years, gaining practical experience in various IT roles. Pascal played a key role in implementing the mobile financial service Quick and other innovations at Pan-African Savings and Loans.

BENJAMIN NATHAN OHENE-KWAPONG – Head, HR and Administration

Experience: He is a proficient and highly motivated HR and Operational Development professional with a verifiable record of accomplishments. He has over 15 years of multi-industry experience and the “can-do” attitude to go with it. His experience spans from the USA and to Ghana in the fields of Human Development, Training and Operational management.

He worked with U.S. Security Associates in Falls Church, Virginia in the US from 2005 – 2011 as the HR, Accounting & Payroll Manager. After that, He was the Senior Account Technician with the Housing Authority of The City of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 2011 – 2017 prior to moving to Ghana and helping start PRN Care, a Health Care Consultancy in Accra as Head of Recruitment and Compliance in 2018. He later joined the oil and gas industry in 2018 in the Upstream field with Maersk Drilling as the HR and Training Coordinator and ended with the Ministry of Education’s National Inspectorate Board as Inspections Operations Manager in 2020 Prior to joining Pan-African.

MICHAELINA ORLEANS-LINDSAY – Risk Manager

Experience: A results-oriented person with 18 years of progressive experience in banking operations, credit and risk delivery. She possess extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with the SME sector. She started her career at ProCredit S&L as a Loan Officer, moved to Women’s World Banking as a Branch Manager and later as a Risk Manager and currently with Pan African Savings and Loans Ltd as a Risk Manager.

AGNES BAAFOUR-GYIMAH – Compliance Manager

Experience: Agnes has worked with Pan-African Savings and Loans since 2007 where she joined as a Teller on attachment with the Osu branch of Ecobank, then to the Tudu branch of Pan-African after it commenced business in March 2008. Over the years, she has obtained a wealth of professional experience working with various departments in Pan-African, including, Finance, Operations and Branch Management.
